Retain volunteers in our country?
It is difficult because there is no training Why is it to do it. Often, there is no one within the organization who can organize recruitment, train new volunteers, include them in the association, continue training and retain them. No one has any idea how to manage human resources.

What are we missing?

Spreading posters with the classic phrase “we are looking for volunteers” is not very useful. It must be clearly specified what type of volunteers we are looking for. But this is not enough. What will they have to do? For how long? Will we offer them training? Why should they choose our organization and not others? We need to have an answer to these questions before we start “asking”.
Fundraising is not very different from people raising. It takes time, technique, strategy and long-term planning.
Frankly, after twenty-five years of work in the Third what is the relationship between marketing and Sector and in people raising, I don’t think there are few volunteers, there are instead very few organizations that know how to properly look for volunteers and above all manage them. It’s not just a question of time to donate but of motivation to cement.
